Bitcoin Well is a Canadian company that enables consumers to buy, sell and use a series of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. As well, Bitcoin Well provides their consumers to pay bills and buy cryptocurrency gift cards for a growing network of retailers. Through the use of 130 Bitcoin ATMs across Canada, Bitcoin Well gives their consumers the advantages of traditional finance powered by the Bitcoin network. In order to OCT funds to their customers’ Visa or Plus enabled cards, Bitcoin Well is leveraging Berkeley Payment’s Visa Direct platform. Through this partnership, Bitcoin Well’s customers will be able to perform ‘account-to-account’ transactions directly from their Bitcoin Well Digital Wallet.

Results:
Working alongside Berkeley Payment, Bitcoin Well has been able to successfully expand the functionality of their Digital Wallet application, to allow for a more streamlined financial experience. Now, all customers will be required to pass authentication and KYC to obtain a card, ensuring a more secure and profitable business model. Additionally, Bitcoin Well’s Visa and Plus enabled cardholders can directly load and pull funds via AFT to fund their Bitcoin Well Digital Wallet. While these types of transfers can typically take days, Bitcoin Well’s cardholders will have access to instant ‘account-to-account’ funding.
