Dave Eason
Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Berkeley Payment Solutions, David is responsible for business strategy, corporate development and overall company growth. Most recently, David served as a director with American Express’ Global Corporate Client Group, where he developed and executed innovative expense management strategies that delivered tens of millions of dollars in bottom-line savings to both American Express and a number of its Fortune 500 clients.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Jonathon Hamburg
Chief Strategy Officer and Founder

Jonathon is the CSO and founder of Berkeley Payment Solutions. In this role, he ensures that execution flows from strategic planning and manages all new opportunity development from conceptualization to final product release. Jonathon’s extensive experience in the field of prepaid payment solutions includes leading and overseeing the development and launch of Canada’s first prepaid MasterCard card and the world’s first contactless prepaid MasterCard card. Prior to his prepaid experience, Jonathon was head of product development and interactive services for Star Choice Communications, a Canadian Satellite Operator and subsequently at Pixstream and Cisco Systems.

Jonathon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Toronto.

Brad Brown
Chief Information Officer

As CIO of Berkeley Payment Solutions, Brad is responsible for IT strategy and operations, investing in technology and processes that increase efficiency, customer satisfaction, and provide platforms for growth. Brad is also responsible for security, information privacy, and technology audit compliance. Brad has built and delivered IT for President’s Choice Financial, from inception to over 2 million customers, transactional systems for 15,000 POS devices with more than $250 million annual turnover, and successful customer-facing ecommerce businesses.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Engineering Science and a Master’s of Science in Artificial intelligence from the University of Toronto. He also holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Jonas Beallor
Corporate Controller

Jonas is responsible for all aspects of the finance & accounting department while steering daily operations and managing change initiatives that improve productivity and profitability. Prior to joining the Berkeley team, Jonas’ experience includes being the financial controller for TGO Consulting, a Senior Consultant for Ernst & Young in the Business Risk Services Practice and a supply chain analyst for Canadian Tire Corp.

Jonas is a Certified Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Enterprise Development from Ryerson University.

In May 2010, we conducted a survey on Canadian corporate incentive trends. We surveyed companies of all sizes across various sectors, and asked them their thoughts on corporate incentive programs. What we found was that today's executives view the development and implementation of corporate incentive programs as very important, and they're allocating budgets to reflect this.
